Way better than Make it Rain

Not only is the quality better on this, the expression and flow is much improved. Great take on this.

MaxStayWitaStrap responds:

Good looks bro lol...take a look at my other shit...SUPRSINGLY THE VOCALS SOUND GOOD SEEING AS HOW I WAS USING A COMPUTER MIC AT THE TIME -____-...yeah i know but shit is good now lol

Not the best

so you're also a victim of the yellow fever... that's all I gotta hear to give ya some props. I can't complain on this for it being a freestyle. The only thing I'd say is to keep the mic a consistant distance from your mouth to avoid the clipping and popping. The flow and lyrics are hopping considering.

MaxStayWitaStrap responds:

i was recording with a fucked up mic...my flow ain't really like this anymore...so i really dont like it...im just tryna put all my old shit up before 2010....but i got some new REAL SHIT COMING THO good looks on the review

What Time is it?

I stopped wearing a watch, because worrying about what time it is, is such a waste of time. Instead I try to live my life in cycles: one part is spent being spontaneous and impulsive, one part is spent planning, one part spent reflecting on my achievements, failures, experiences and associations and one part is spent creating my world. Once a cycle is complete, I start again. As time drags on maybe new components will be added to my cycle, making each rotation more beneficial to my mental and spiritual development as my body grows older and my bones become more brittle. Time is immortal, we aren't, fighting against time only amplifies the loss. Accept the losing the battle and learn from what time brings you.

Great beat, insightful essay and congratulations on finishing your mid terms.

Blasphem-E responds:

They were finals.

But that is quite the system you have set up. Good thoughts as well.

What a shame...

I thought King Darwin would be the next T-Payne/Kelly Clarkson/Fred Penner. "Water" was truly a work of art, but I guess it was a one hit wonder. I enjoy the auto-tune so much in this one, the singing is passionate and real, the lyrics are genius, but...it's missing... a pan flute and a banjo solo and possibly Nickleback.

Blasphem-E responds:

Damn, good points. We should get on that

Im in the holiday spirit now!

I am dazed...I've been waiting for a new holiday tune to get my in the spirit. Thank you for delivering!

2one9 responds:

anythin for the holidaze haha, glad u enjoyed it.

Santa Clause is coming to town...

I'm really diggin that bell scale and the part at 1:06. The constant wind chime kinda gets annoying though (just like most Christmas songs). The drums are a bit too simple, but they work well with the accompaniment, I didnt much like the sound of the snare or the hi hat, they kind of sound shallow. Nice work on this though, that horn part is killer!

Zodiax responds:

ha, hey thanks for an actual review man, it is somewhat simple, but im going to record to this one soon, and i set it up specifically for my lyrics, and when it comes to the drums, i wish i was better at drums, but im not too creative when it comes down to it...

but thanks for dropping by man, i really appreciate it

The Voice

Killed it man, ya flow's contagious and you got a good voice for this. I couldnt tell where ya freestyled it, it was fluid all the way through. Why is there a minute of beat without lyrics though, it's a good beat but I wouldnt complain if there was third verse.

traumatik1 responds:

Thanks for the luv ... c.o.l.l.a.b.o.r.a.t.e

Dude...

where do you come from, this mastery of language is definitely not from a human brain. I'm in awe. Have you already pre-ordered 2010?

LyRikLyNkLyNd responds:

Nah dude, I'm just puttin jack moves on anyone that leave the store with it

I like how it sounds...

I'd say the only thing its missing is lyrics...

PoyzenJam responds:

some lyrics would def pull the track together....

Oh the trombone...

Back when I was in band I played the Euphonium Baritone, I asked the band teacher if I could switch to the trombone, he said no, I've despised him since. Since beat reminds me of a dream denied. Fucking Band teacher! Anyway... great beat man. You're definitely one of my favourite artists on Newgrounds.

shaggyhaired responds:

All band teachers are corrupt dude.

Glad you like it.

Its what I do for fun.
