Sounds good and such. Im surprised there is another Mickey atound leaving such beautifuly elegant reviews.

Liked the intro! Your voice works very well with the theme and the beat. Your flow really shines on this romanticish tip, like very very good; I admit, I was skeptical at first, but you rock this shit hard on. Delivery is spot on, it really sounds like you had these lyrics coming from the heart. Gotta love that Teddygram beat too! Solid track here. The vocal mixing could use some more touch though, the dubs were a bit too sloppy; the echo effect made it difficult to catch a lot of the verse content.

Awesome track here, if it dont get you laid then the pope don' t shit in the woods/

Teqneek responds:

Thanks Mickey I love you... Also I remastered and reuploaded this here tune so hopefully it sounds less dub-heavy now. Lol I gotta chill with that shit I know; but getting back into the swing of things and finding my voice again- dubs are a crutch. But I gots to walk now, na'mean?

This is a real solid battle on a real sick beat.

Kwing- Dynamic and direct hits with quick frequency strikes. I really like the flow he's got going here; delivery and energy go far to make the audibility a no issue here. Flips were good but could've used more elaboration in some cases. (Big willy/Ohio-SDJ- not elected) Personal material was decent.

Sky- Wordplay. So good, unique attacks really make the shots count when the rhyme schemes set them up so well. Really enjoyed the direct rebuttals; self contained within the context of this battle. I enjoy Sky's generally laid back delivery, but there were a few lines that sounded rushed/under emphasized which made the lines hard to catch on the first spin.

Kwing- Content. Delivery.
Sky- Flow. Wordplay.
This was a real close battle. I'm gonna give it to...

Sky- "Oh, so the state I'm from now is a diss... I'll put you in a state of unconsciousness, ya bitch" won this one for me. Kwing had more disses but Sky's hots held more weight with lyricism.

This is sick. Real freeverse feels. 17 thumbs up.

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Thanks Mickey!

FFFf %^#'n vibes on this, wowza! Really like the ebb n flow here. Great little 2nd half change up, switched it up but still kept it familiar. I give this 7 wombat mercenaries out of 2 advanced worg riders.

What the hell does that mean?

Thanks for the review!

The journey begins...

The way you mesh noise to make a cohesive sound is incredible. This track almost feels like two different songs, but with the repeated motifs and familiar notes throughout, it ties this together like a boa constrictor blessed by a unicorn bear. Magic.

Haven't really watched/read much of King's stuff... so my guess is 1) Four Past Midnight 2)Black House 3) The Green Mile 4) Bag of Bones 5) Night Shift 6) Hearts in Atlantis 7)Carrie 8) The Shining 9) Heroes for Hope Starring the X-Men 10) Duma Key 11) Doctor Sleep 12) b 13) b 14) d 15) all of the above.

As for the rest of the stuff. The mixing on this track is awesome. Start to finish, its gotta the tone and atmosphere set and established. I probably missed 99% of the references, but the wordplay was impressive. One thing though, I thought that you overused a bit similes too much in the first verse;I'm thinkin they are almost too simple when doing these reference based songs. The vocals were audible and the flow was on point. You're really stepping up your delivery too, I like what you're doing with this.

Keep it up NoCoins!

Luke responds:

You got a few of them for sure! I didn't reference Night Shift, Duma Key, or Heroes for Hope, and I don't think I referenced Four Past Midnight either.

Thanks for the review and feedback, when I think about it I did use a bit too many similes in the first verse, didn't really notice that until now. I'll keep it in mind for the next track, good to hear from you buddy!

I really like your flow in this lil joint. And the content covered in this abstract piece of lyrical diddy is quite impressive. The beat decent and serves the purpose, nothing too special, but it does good. You got a real knack for rhyme schemes add it shines here. Nice werk dawg!

CHiLEDAWG responds:

Appreciate the listen thank you mickey!

I liked this battle. Had some good replay-ability thanks to the lyrical skills of both these dudes.

Kwing's first verse had a held back/ reserved approach to it, but his second verse was more on point and direct; however his flips were a bit too overt for my liking. The sound quality wasn't in his favour but the audibility was improved in the second verse. Sounds like Kwing was a bit green in this encounter; from 1st to 2nd verse there was huge improvement; hope to hear him battle again :)

Blest has really stepped up since the last time I heard him last battle. Very creative disses and some ample wordplay. " If I understand, you're bars were planned before the battle, and I went second...bombed the first...flip lines.... mistakes x3" was the stand out line for me. While his flow has an excellent amount of energy and complexity, some lines sounded a bit rushed or under enunciated.

Good showing from both. Blest gets the W with/for witty wordplay and better Wwap skillz(atm).

Kwing responds:

Thanks for voting!
Blest - 4

Its what I do for fun.
